Rotary Mulcher RM 232
Before initial start-up
Check the machine by carrying out the daily inspection. See section
”Daily/routine
inspections

In general, there must no be defects or malfunctions on the machine. If there are any, they
MUST be corrected/repaired before using the machine. After 3-5 operating hours extra
attention should be paid to loose bolts, especially the tension level of the blade bolts
(135N) and the belt (900 N).
Warm- up and test running
•
Carefully raise the machine.
•
Start the tool at idle speed, increase rotation speed until the rotary mulcher has
reached the ideal rotation speed of 50 l/min.
•
When a Twiga multi carrier is used, the rotation speed is slightly increased, so there is
a sufficient amount of oil if the arm is to be moved hydraulically (max. rev./min. on
PTO must not be exceeded).
If you continue to increase the rotation speed on the tractor/multi carrier,
the fuel consumption is increased without the mulcher running faster
•
Warm up the hydraulic oil by running for 5-10 minutes in summer (min. +10 ° C) and 20-
30 minutes in winter (under -5 ° C).

Stop by decreasing otation speed to idle speed after which you turn it off. Wait until the
rotation has been brought to a complete standstill
•
Turn off the multi carrier, remove the keys, pull the handbreak, now check all the
hydraulic connections for leaks.
•
Now the machine is warmed up, inspected and ready for operation.
Rotational direction
All blades cut from downwards and up. In that way
the branches are chopped into smaller pieces
because they stay longer in the rotary mulcher.
Dismounting
Dismounting the rotary mulcher is carried out like mounting - except in reverse order.
