5.1 Battery Replacement
The AAA alkaline batteries which operate your
JUST IN CASE
TM
911
Emergency Phone must be replaced periodically to ensure that the batteries
are always working properly so that your Handset works properly when you
need it during an emergency. Although the batteries may still be working,
it is recommended that you replace the batteries once a year with new, high
quality AAA alkaline batteries from a recognized brand. ALWAYS follow the
battery safety information and the installation instructions in this Owner’s
Guide.
After replacing the batteries in your Handset, ALWAYS perform a Battery
Test to ensure that the batteries are installed correctly and working
properly.
To keep your

911 Emergency Phone working properly,
follow these general guidelines, as well as the other instructions,
precautions and guidelines in this Owner’s Guide:

Avoid dropping the Base Unit or the Handset.
•
Avoid exposing the Base Unit to water or other liquids.
•
Retain the original packaging in case you need to return the Core Unit,
Base Unit or Handset.
•
DO NOT place any objects on top of or inside the Base Unit or Handset.
•
The Handset and Base Unit are not toys. DO NOT allow children to play
with any of the
