Maiden run
Give all the batteries a full charge, and carefully check the boat’s working systems one by one. Secure the
hatch cover carefully, so that it is watertight, and cannot possibly fall off. Check the effective radio range with
the motor running. When you are satisfied, you are ready for the boat’s maiden run.
NOTE:
at all times when
operating the model take care that no part of your body can contact the propeller. Run the boat at moderate
speed at first, and take your time to become accustomed to its handling characteristics. Please bear in mind
all the time that the boat is not capable of reversing, and this will dictate which manoeuvres are safe or fea-
sible.
NOTE:
if you have to turn the boat tightly, reduce the throttle substantially until you have become famil-
iar with the model’s handling.
All of us hope you thoroughly enjoy running your GRAUPNER POWERKAT X.
