15. Install outlet (30) to spool. Replace and tighten all
bolts (37) securely. Torque bolts to 24 to 30 ft.

• Always use all bolts provided.
16. Remove c-clamp (A) (installed in Step 13, page 31).
17. Disengage latch by pulling on hose to release it.
18. Use your hand to guide the hose as it rewinds onto
the reel.
19. Adjust spring tension if needed. See Adjusting
Spring Tension, page 35.
20. Remove cap from end of hose and install dispense
valve to end of hose.
Roller Guide Replacement
Disassembly
1.
Relieve pressure, page 10.
2.
Pull the hose out far enough to engage the latch.
Listen for the loud click when the spool has latched.
3.
Securely attach a c-clamp (A) to the reel spool as
shown in F
IG
. 69 to help prevent the reel from unin-
tentionally becoming unlatched and spinning freely.

Always wear heavy, non-slippery gloves when adjust-
ing the spring tension to protect your hands from being
cut on the hose reel.

Never allow the reel to spin freely. Doing so causes
the hose to spin out of control, which could cause
serious injury if you are hit by the hose or dispense
valve.
