Assembling the
Lower Encoder

Instructions
The
lower encoder
has the long cable and black spring. It must be installed on the rear-facing, left-
rear wheel of the bottom carriage.

Note:
Some bottom carriage styles only have one wheel in each corner of the bottom carriage
instead of two. If this is the case, the lower encoder will be installed on the left-rear wheel of the
bottom carriage.
1. Loosen the
lock collar screw
(shown in blue) on the lower encoder with the 2.5 mm Allen
wrench until the lock collar turns freely. Note: Depending on the encoder model, this step may
require the 2.0 mm Allen wrench.
