Uploading a Report Form

Report and print-out forms can be generated and modified with
the help of WinProfi software, and can be uploaded to the

PROFITEST 204+

. WinProfi software provides the user with a high

performance editor to this end.

Note

Before uploading a report form, the header should be
edited to fulfill your needs (see chapter 6.4.2, page 54).
GMC-I Messtechnik GmbH’s name and address are
included in the header upon shipment from the factory.

Attention!

All measurement data stored to the test instrument are
deleted when a print form is uploaded!

There are two recommended procedures for uploading report
forms:

• 1. Upload the report form.

2. Perform measurements.
3. Print the report.

• 1. Perform measurements.

2. Transmit and save measured values to a PC.
3. Upload the report form.
4. Transmit measured values back to the

PROFITEST 204+

5. Print the report.

A Installing and Starting WinProfi at the PC

Install the software as described in chapter 3.7.5, part A, if not
already installed.

Start WinProfi from the Windows start menu.

B Data Transmission Prerequisites

➭

Establish a connection between the PC and the test
instrument. Use the Z3241 cable to this end which is included
with the test instrument.

➭

Switch both devices on.
