Unit Preparation

EOF-BIB/FFLT/24/24

4-05. Perform Boil Out Procedure

Before cooking on the unit, disassemble and thoroughly clean the Filter Pan and its components with warm soapy water

to remove any dirt, or debris, that may have accumulated during shipping, and to remove any residues that may remain

from manufacturing processes. Rinse and dry completely. Follow

Section 6-02, Cleaning the Filter Pan and Replacing

Filter Media after Boil Out

Before use, wash all accessory items (baskets, basket lift carriers, screens, etc.), tools and brushes with warm soapy

water, rinse and dry completely.

Locate and remove any of the adhesive protective film which remains on the unit. Some of this material is intentionally

left on the unit to provide protection for surfaces during shipment. Clean all sheet metal surfaces with a good quality

stainless steel cleaner/polish.

Preparation is now complete ... proceed to the

Perform a Boil Out Procedure for each vat to remove any dirt, dust or debris that may have accumulated during shipping.
