Fryer Operation

EOF-BIB/FFLT/24/24

6. Set the Power Switch

to the

position. The green

Power Light

will turn

. If the unit is equipped with

Basket Lifts and you wish to use them, set the Basket Lift
Switch

in the

position to enable.

7. Set the HEAT Switch

to the

position. The amber Heat Light

will illuminate, the main display

will read

“HOLD”

and the Scrolling Display

will read

“Oil Heating”.

Heating Elements are energized and oil

begins heating to the setpoint temperature .

NOTE:

If an alarm sounds when Power Switch is set to the ON

position, and the Scrolling Display reads “Drain Open -

Close & Push Reset”, perform Step 4 above and then press

Alarm Reset on the Cooking Controller.

IMPORTANT:

During the first heating of the day, particularly if the shortening is cold and congealed, it is not uncommon to

experience false Hi-limit or Low Oil alarms. To avoid this, it is recommended that the cooking oil in the vat be

stirred often while heating.
