3-08. EOF-24 Control Panel

Item

Description

Function

Power Switch

The Power Switch is used to turn power to the unit

OFF

Heat Switch

The Heat Switch is used to enable or disable power to the heating

elements. Place the Heat Switch in the

OFF

position when

programming the controller or shutting down the unit. Place in

HEAT

position when ready to heat the oil.

Controller

The Electronic Controller is used for setting a cooking temperature

and cooking times.

High-Limit Indicator

The Red High-Limit Light indicates an excessive heat alarm

condition. It is illuminated when the safety control turns

OFF

power to the heating elements due to overheating. Should this

light come on during operation, refer to the Troubleshooting,

Section 7, of this manual.

COOKING ACTIVITIES SHOULD BE

DISCONTINUED UNTIL CAUSE IS DETERMINED AND REPAIRED!

Heat Indicator Light

The Orange Heat Indicator Light is illuminated when the Heat

Switch is in the

position and the heating elements are

energized. The light is off during intervals when oil is at setpoint

and elements are de-energized.

Power Indicator Light

The Green Power Light is on whenever the fryer’s Power Switch is

in the

position.

Basket Lift Switch

If vat is equipped with Basket Lifts, this switch enables or disables

the lifts. When enabled, the Basket of product will be

automatically lifted out of the cooking oil at the end of a cook

cycle.
