Restarting the NGCRIND.exe Process
When issues appear to impact all fueling positions, it may become necessary to restart the
NGCRIND.exe process.
To restart the NGCRIND.exe
process, proceed as follows:

Access the System Maintenance toolbar on the Passport Server.

Select
Task Mgr
from the System Maintenance Toolbar. A Windows Task Manager Screen
appears.

Click the
Processes
tab to view all active processes.

Click
Image Name
to sort the processes alphabetically, or use the scroll bar to search for the
NGCRIND.exe process.

After you locate the NGCRIND.exe process, click
Process
to highlight it. Click
End Process
to terminate the NGCRIND.exe process.

A Task Manager Warning popup appears with the message “Terminating a process can cause
undesired results…”. Click
Yes
to end the process.

The NGCRIND.exe process must regenerate itself within 15-30 seconds. If the process does
not regenerate, a “stop/start off Passport” will be required.
