TESZLA – LED Module
Start-up
The lamp begins to operate automatically on start-up and all LEDs increase to 100% output within 30 seconds.
Once full light output is achieved (100%) the blue Status LED on the control panel at the front of the lamp
(Fig. 5) will shine continuously to indicate that the lamp is ready for use. The lamp will continue to run for a
maximum of 12 hours, and will then automatically go into sunset mode and on into night time/moonlight mode
unless sunrise/sunset schedules are programmed.
Programming the colour temperatures
The individual colour channels are pre-programmed initially with a colour component of 100% intensity when
the lamp is operational. To switch off the individual colour channels (Fig. 5). Press the BL button for the blue
channel, RB for Royal Blue or WS for white. To adjust individual channel intensities, hold down the desired
button to slowly increase the setting for the corresponding light channel from 0% to 100%. Once the required
light output for the relevant channel is achieved, let go of the button and the intensity level you have chosen will
be saved automatically.
NB: When the colour channel button is first pressed that channel will dim to 0% and slowly increase.
100% brightness is achieved after pressing the channel button for approx. 30 seconds. Afterwards the
intensity then drops back to 0% before increasing slowly to 100% once more. This enables you to
adjust the brightness setting as you require. For example 15 seconds from 0% would be 50% intensity
and 30 seconds for 100% intensity.
Programming Sunrise / Sunset times
You need enter the start times for sunrise and sunset only once. The TESZLA lamp will then automatically re-
peat the programmed daily cycle every 24 hours via its inbuilt timer circuit.
Quick Set-Up with no adjustment to intensities
On the first day of operation, press the ENTER button
8
once at the required time of day you wish Sunrise to
start. The lamp will automatically begin its sunrise cycle and 100% output will be achieved within a predefined
time of approximately 60 minutes. The blue status LED on the control panel will start to flash indicating the
lamp is in sunrise mode. Press ENTER again at the required time you wish Sunset to start, and the lamp will
begin slowly decreasing in intensity over the pre-defined 60 minute Sunset cycle before automatically entering
moonlight phase which will last until the next day’s sunrise cycle begins again. These times are then stored and
the unit will continue this cycle on each subsequent day.
Timer set-up after adjustment of channel Intensity
Adjust the colour channel intensities as above and confirm by pressing the ENTER button
8
at your required
sunrise time, the lamp will automatically store and begin its sunrise cycle with the desired light output achieved
within the predefined time of approx. 60 minutes. The blue status LED on the control panel at the front of the
lamp will start to flash and the setting for the LEDs will increase according to your specifications. The lamp is
already pre-set to continuously increase the level of brightness, taking approximately 60 minutes to achieve the
full sunrise setting of 100%. To launch the sunset setting press the ENTER button once more. The blue status
LED on the control panel at the front of the lamp will start to flash and the LEDs will gradually be dimmed once
again, similar to the way they were increased at sunrise.
NB: The duration of Sunrise/Sunset is determined by the channel with the highest intensity setting. If
a light output of less than 100% has been set for all channels then a correspondingly shorter time for
Sunrise/Sunset will be encountered. For instance, if you set the blue channel to 50% brightness then
this channel will achieve its programmed brightness level within approx. 30 minutes.
If the sunset setting is not launched manually after the ENTER button has been pressed sunset will
commence automatically 12 hours after sunrise began. The moon phase begins as soon as sunset is
completed. Moonlight is simulated using 5% of the blue LED output until sunrise begins again.
