5.1 Functions
Fail-safe to close (FC) function
Control air through 3/2 solenoid pilot valve
on connection A turns the actuator 90° left
Fail-safe to open (FO) function
Control air through 3/2 solenoid pilot valve
on connection A turns the actuator 90° right
Double acting (DA) function
Control air through 5/2 solenoid pilot valve
on connection A turns the actuator 90° right
Control air through 5/2 solenoid pilot valve
on connection B turns the actuator 90° left
Response in the event of a pressure drop
With the FC and FO functions, the installed spring sets the actuator back to the fail-safe
position if there is a pressure drop.
In versions with the DA function, the actuator remains in its current position if there is a
pressure drop.
