1 Dual vi sor as sem bly
Re move and re place the dual vi sor as sem bly as fol lows:
NOTE
The dual vi sor as sem bly is held to gether and at tached to the hel met with four screws;
two on each side. Re moval of these screws al lows any or all of the com po nents (vi sors,
tracks, hous ing, etc.) to be re placed (see Fig ure 4-9).
1. Re move four screws (two screws each side) from dual vi sor as sem bly and care fully
re move as sem bly from hel met.
NOTE
Prior to dis as sem bling the dual vi sor as sem bly, note the or der and align ment of the
com po nents to en sure proper as sem bly (see Fig ure 3-20).
2. Lift vi sor hous ing off as sem bly to ex pose spac ers, tracks, and vi sors.
3. Re place vi sor or hous ing as re quired and as sem ble com po nents for in stal la tion.
4. Place as sem bly on hel met and at tach us ing four screws re moved in step 1. Tighten
screws se curely but do not over-tighten.
