Removal

unplug the microphone cord
from the connector at the
rear of the helmet.

2. Referring to

remove the center screw
attaching the
microphone-boom-
cord-swivel assembly
to the helmet.

Installation

1. Referring to

Figure 3-15

, attach the replacement microphone-boom-cord-swivel assembly

to the helmet. Ensure that the boom is seated within the grooves on the grooved washers.

, plug the microphone cord into the connector at the rear of the

helmet.
