SC-ES Configuration
SC-ES Configuration Overview
Table 3-1
describes in brief the configurable SC-ES options. SC-ES configuration is performed
through the command line interface (CLI). You can execute CLI commands at a HyperTerminal
connection or through a Telnet connection. A brief overview of CLI is provided below. For a
detailed guide to Smart CLI, refer to
Appendix A, Application Guidelines
The SC-ES command line interface is an interactive means of configuring the SC-ES through a
Telnet session over the LAN or by typing commands at a VT100-compatible ACSII terminal
connected to the SC-ES
CRAFT
port. The CLI is a smart, controlled-access interface that provides
general and context-sensitive help, automatically expands abbreviated command or subcommands
and also anticipates any required command arguments. The CLI will prompt for any required
argument that is missing from a command line.
