Action

Step

Enter the serial number for the instrument in the Instrument serial no field.
This number may be found on the system label on the back of the rocker
platform. Pull the platform into tilt position to make the label visible.

The InstrumentServer is by default EPC-<serial number> for bioreactor.

Select to connect by Fixed IP address..

Enter the IP address for the instrument control unit (10.1.1.69).

Make sure that the rocker is powered on, and connected to the client
computer.

Click the Connection Test button.

Result: The connection between the instrument server station and the instru-
ment is verified.

Click the Define System button.

Result: The system definition settings are saved and the new system is added
in the System Properties dialog as an active system. It is recommended that
you restart the rocker before the system is used.

Note:

Before the UNICORN client can connect to the system, the rocker LED must
show a steady green light.
