2.6.7 Optional Input Wiring
The meter has two optional input wiring terminals. These can be used to input a
Remote
or
Second RTD
input in
situations such as: an
Energy Monitoring
meter, the input of a
Remote Pressure Transducer
, to pass a
Contact Closure
,
for a
Remote Density
measurement, etc. The wiring diagram (see
below) will be included with the meter if
any of these types of options are specified. Otherwise, the optional terminal blocks will be left blank and
non-functional.

2.6.7a Optional Energy EMS RTD Input Wiring
The recommended customer-supplied second RTD is a Class A, 1000 ohm, 4-wire, platinum RTD. If a second RTD is
not being used, then the factory-supplied 1000 ohm resistor needs to be installed in its place. Refer to
below
for wiring details.
