DTP-B Digital Transformer Protection

GEK-106243E

d) Communication Interfaces

The DTP has three communication ports, one on the front of the relay, and two on the rear. The front port (PORT
1) and one of the rear ports (PORT 3) are RS232, while the other rear port (PORT 2) can be RS232, RS485,
glass or plastic fiber optics.

The following software is associated to the DTP:

•

GE-LOCAL

Communications Software, allowing the user to monitor and modify the protection settings, alarms,

internal status, etc.

•

GE-INTRO

Configuration Software, used for the configuration of inputs, outputs, alarms and LED indicators.

•

GE-OSC

Oscillography Software, for monitoring and analyzing oscillography records.

These software packages are part of GE-NESIS (General Electric NEtwork Substation Integrated System)
