STORAGE BATTERIES
Additional battery 50 ah, servicefree, with gas absorption, type 95502
“VARTA” is installed in vehicle’s compartment to connect medical equipment.
To avoid the voltage drop across the medical equipment the additional
battery is cut off automatically from vehicle’s electrical equipment by means
of contactor KT128 or 12КД510 at the moment of engine starting.
LIGHTING DEVICES
Directional lighting headlamps are installed on the roof above side and rear
doors of the compartment. Headlamps are designed to illuminate the areas of
embussing and loading of sick people; they are turned on by means of button
switches located on the instrument panel.
Compartment lighting is provided by means of luminescent dome lights
fitted on the compartment ceiling.
Monitor dome light with directional effect section is installed on entresol
in the left front part of the compartment.
Compartment dome light and stretches lamp are turned on by switches
located on the instrument panel and medical equipment control panel. Moni
tor dome light switch is installed on its housing.
ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
The vehicle is equipped with power supply system СЭС 97 designed to
feed 220±22 V, 50±0.5 Hz voltage in medical compartment and for charging
storage batteries in automatic mode when the vehicle is at parking place.
Board leadin to connect to outer current source is located on the outside
of the vehicle in the rear part of the body wall. Socket of junction cable is con
nected to board leadin, and plug with safety cutoff device on the other end of
the cable is connected to twopole socket (with side ground contacts) of 220 V,
50 Hz stationary electric circuit.
