PROCESSING YOUR FOOD
NOTE
Please keep in mind that the appliance will process your food within seconds. Inter-
mediately, check your food accordingly. To avoid overheating, do not operate
the motor continuously for more than 2 minutes. If the blades get stuck or agitate
noticeably slow, stop operation immediately (see: ‘Solving Problems’). If possible,
you should place your hand on top of the jar, while the appliance is operating.
5. Ensure that the appliance is assembled completely and correctly (see above).
Then, insert the plug into the power outlet.
6. Start the motor, by turning the rotary switch to the desired speed setting (see:
‘Tips for Best Results / Recommended Use of Speed Settings’).
With most types of food you will get best results by pulsing (position “P”). Shortly
turn the rotary switch counter-clockwise and let it spring back repeatedly.
If you wish to process your food continuously for several seconds, turn the rota-
ry switch clockwise to the desired speed setting. The rotary switch stays in the
selected position (“1” or “2”) as long as you turn it back manually. Nevertheless,
do NOT leave the appliance operate without supervision
.
7. If you wish to add some more ingredients, switch off the motor (position “0”)
and add your food via the central opening in the lid. However, do not overfill
the jar.
IMPORTANT -
Do not forget to close the central opening again via the measuring
cup. Otherwise, liquids and solid parts may be hurled out during operation.
WARNING
– Do not insert any foreign objects (e.g. cooking utensils) with
the jar still placed on the motor base.
8. For checking the consistency of your food or pushing down any food, sticking
to the inner walls of the jar, first switch off the motor (rotary switch to “0”) and
remove the jar from the motor base.
9. For checking the consistency of your food and/or pushing down the ingredients
in the jar: Switch OFF the motor (position “0”), unplug and remove the jar. Then,
press the opening button and remove the lid. Thereafter, if you wish to process
your food for some further seconds, first make the appliance ready for operation
again (see: ‘Operation / Getting Ready for Operation’).
