WARNING

– DO NOT let children play with the appliance, or any part

of it, or the packaging! The blades of the blade assembly are very sharp. Only

hold the blade assembly via the base plate. Ensure that the specifications of your

power supply are as required for save operation of the appliance (see: ‘Safegu-

ards for Electrical Appliances’).

1. Unpack the appliance and all parts carefully. Check that no parts are dama-

ged or missing (see: ‘Knowing Your VITAL MIXER PLUS’). Carefully remove all

shipping materials and promotional materials. However, DO NOT remove the

model label.

WARNING

– Always unplug the appliance, before cleaning. Do not

immerse the motor base or power cord in water or other liquids or spill any liquids

on the motor base or power cord.

Do not place the motor base or power cord

in an automatic dishwasher.

2. Before first use and after a longer period of storage, clean the appliance and

all parts thoroughly (see: ‘Care and Cleaning’).

OPERATION

WARNING - RISK OF INJURIES

– Always ensure that the appliance

and all its parts and accessories are

out of reach of children younger than 8 years

and animals

. The appliance is using sharp blades in high speed rotation for cutting

and blending food. Improper use or misuse may cause severe injuries and damage.

Always unplug the appliance, before moving the appliance or disassembling or

cleaning any parts of the appliance. Additionally, always handle the blade assem-

bly with special care. Do not grasp the blade assembly at the blades.

To avoid hazard of electric shock
Do not leave the appliance without supervision, while it is connected to the power

supply.

Before placing the jar onto the motor base,

always ensure that the jar is

assembled leak-free

. If there are any liquids running out or accumulating below the

motor base during operation, immediately unplug the appliance and remove the jar

from the motor base (see: ‘Solving Problems’). Do not touch the appliance, when

liquids run out or accumulate below the motor base. Instead, immediately unplug the

appliance. Then remove the jar (see: ‘Solving Problems’). Do not touch the appliance

with wet hands, while the appliance is live.
