If the appliance is not used for a longer period, we recommend a cleaning the grou-
phead. Do not insert portafilter afterwards into the grouphead.
Store the appliance only in a clean, dry and frost-free place, where it is protected
from excessive strain (fall, shock, moisture, frost, direct sunlight) and out of reach of
small children. Do not place heavy or hard objects on the appliance or its compo-
nents.
Handle the power cable with care. Do not bend the power cord, squeeze or tie.

Never use any parts or tools of the appliance for other purposes than to work with

STORAGE

NOTES FOR DISPOSAL

appliances and packaging. Please contact your local disposal company.
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use
separate collection facilities. Contact your local government for information regarding
the collection systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or
dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food
chain, damaging your health and well-being. When replacing old appliances with
new ones, the retailer is legally obligated to take back your old appliance for dispo-
sal at least for free of charge.
