appliance during operation, to avoid risk of fire, electric shock and

overheating. Before operation, always ensure that there are no foreign

objects in or under the pot, and the appliance is assembled properly

and not leaking with the lid and upper cover firmly in place. Solely

use the appliance for processing edible food. Immediately unplug the

appliance, if there is any kind of malfunction or problem (e.g. leaking,

overheating).

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)

with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of expe-

rience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible

for their safety. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not

play with the appliance or any parts of the appliance or the packa-

ging. Do not leave the appliance unattended, when it is in reach of

young children. Always keep the appliance where it is dry and clean

and where young children cannot reach it. Do not place any hard

and/or heavy objects on the appliance or any part of it. Take care

that no one will pull the appliance by the power cord.

• Remove and safely discard any packaging material and promotional

labels or stickers before using Design Espresso Plus for the first time.

• Do not place the appliance near the edge of a bench or table duri-

ng operation. Ensure the surface is level, clean and free of water and

other substances. Do not use the appliance on a sink drain board. Do

not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or

where it could touch a heated oven.

• The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external

timer or separate remote control system.

• Do not use attachments other than those provided with the appliance.

The use of accessory attachments not recommended by GASTRO-

BACK may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.

• Do not attempt to operate the appliance by any method other than

those described in this book.

• Use only cold, tap water in the water tank. Do no use any other liquid.
