For successful mowing and to avoid jamming, we advise you to:

-

Set and maintain the power take-off at a constant rate of 540
rpm to ensure correct blade frequency

;

- compatibly with the soil conditions and the type of fodder,

maintain a steady work speed: no slower than 6 km/h to favour
the discharging of the mown fodder and no faster than 10 km/
h to avoid breaking or damaging the machine's structure.

- if the fodder is tangled or flattened, keep the cutting bar grazing

the ground.

- Check the blades frequently for wear and replace them if

necessary.

- Sharpen the sections of the blades daily, depending on the

state of wear of the cutting edge.

- Working with worn blades or with loose rivets leads to rapid

wear or breaking of the drive parts.

.

- After each mowing, use water jets to wash the bar thoroughly.

- When the machine is new, after the first few hours of operation,

check to ensure that the screws are well-tightened.

ATTENTION

If the blades become jammed, it is advisable to intervene
carefully wearing suitable personal protection gear.
All the maintenance, adjustment and work preparation
operations, must be carried out with the tractor strictly
switched off and properly stationary, with the ignition key out
and the planter on the ground.

CAUTION

- Always raise the implement in order to reverse or change

direction.

- The cutting arm should not be  raised abruptly in order to

avoid damaging the cutting blades.

- Do not work whit P.T.O. in synchronism with the wheels.
- Power take-off must not exceed 540 r.p.m.
- Never run the motor at maximum power while mowing.
- In order to prevent breakages or damage, the speed of the

tractor must never exceed 10 Km/hour when the implement
is working.

DANGER

The mowing machine has sharp cutting blades. Always make
sure that there  are no person, chidren, domestic animals,
electrical cables, pipes and so forth, within the field of action
of the implement.
