Cange of oil and filter.

The oil should be changed when the engine is hot, since this helps
the oil to go out through the drain located in the lowest part of the
engine. Follow these steps to change the oil.

WARNING

The engine oil and the outpour tube can be very hot and cause
burns. Wait until the oil and the outpour tube are a little colder, by
touching the oil drain with your hand.

WARNING

Using new or used oil may be hazardous. Permanent contact of oil
with the skin has caused skin cancer in many lab animals.
Avoid contact of motor oil with the skin as much as possible, to avoid
possible skin irritation.
- Keep new or used oil away from the reach of childrren
- Clean jersey cuffs and pants
- Wash yourself with soap if oil has been in contact with your skin.

To change the oil and
the oil filter, follow  these
instructions:

2. Remove the
connection screw (C).

1. Run the engine with the motorcycle in neutral gear for 3 minutesRun
the engine with the motorcycle in neutral gear for 3 minutes.

NOTE

When starting the engine, closely follow care and warnings

from the “start the engine” section.

2. Wipe both sight glasses
clean.

3. Gradually increase the
power to 2000 rpm and keep
it there.

4. Check to see that the oil
covers the whole of the
lower sight glass, but does
not reach the upper sight
glass. If it does, allow the
engine to cool down, then
drain the reservoir until the
optimum level is reached.

ATTENTION

The engine-oil level must remain between the lower and the upper
sight glasses. Otherwise, the engine might be damaged.
Visually check the oil level while keeping the vehicle fully upright
and always before using the quad.

NOTE

Motor oil expands and descends when it is hot. Check and
adjust the level when the motor oil is not hot.
