Creating the “DRYTG” user waypoint...

Press WPT and the WPT softkey, if
needed, to select the Waypoint
Definition Page.

Press the right arrow key to place the
cursor on the waypoint category field.

Press CLR (repeatedly) until “USR” is
displayed. The Dry Tortugas area will
be added to memory as a user
waypoint.

Press the right arrow key to place the
cursor on the waypoint identifier field.

Enter the waypoint identifier, DRYTG,
using the alphanumeric and arrow
keys. Begin by pressing the “2” key,
followed by the left arrow, to select the
letter “D”.

Press the “6” key, followed by the right
arrow, to select the letter “R”.
