OC-G-5646-2-ET OLED Lighting Controllers - User Manual
The OC-G-5646-2-ET does not have an IP r ating and m ust be m ounted
so that m oistur e and dir t cannot enter the unit.
To avoid a fir e hazar d, consider the im plications of over heating in the
unlikely event of a fault in the OC-G-5646-2-ET. The power dissipation
in a fault condition is appr oxim ately given by the sum of the following
for the two channels:
(
V
PS
–
V
L
) x
I
PS
Wher e:
V
PS
= Power supply voltage
V
L
= Rated voltage for lighting
I
PS
= M axim um cur r ent deliver ed by the power supply.
Either lim it the power supply output cur r ent so that not m or e than
30W can be dissipated by the OC-G-5646-2-ET.
To lim it the power , set the power supply output voltage to the
m inim um value r equir ed by the OLED light and the OC-G-5646-2-ET
together . Choose a PSU that lim its its output cur r ent by design, by
setting the cur r ent lim it on the supply (if this featur e exists), or use a
fuse. Rem em ber to de-r ate the fuse if m ounted in an enclosur e as the
tem per atur e will be higher than am bient.
