Sensor (DI) Configuration
Resource type
Select the type of sensor module. It can be either voltage [maximum 5 volts] or relay.
Trigger type
Select type ‘Normally open’ or ‘Normally closed’.
Detection type
Select your ideal detection type between ‘Edge trigger’ and ‘Level trigger’.
- Edge trigger: You can select this detection type if you need to detect DI signals at the
moment that DI signal is at the rising edge and the falling edge.
- Level trigger: You can select this detection type if you need to detect DI signals throughout
the time that DI signal is maintained.
Interval between triggers
This menu is available only when you select Edge trigger as the sensor’s detection type.
Set the detection interval for event generation frequency. For example, if you input ‘0,’ it
generates an event whenever DI is activated. When the value is set to’10,’ then only one event
will be triggered every 10 seconds even if multiple DI events are detected within 10 seconds.
The interval range is from 0 to 600 seconds.
Duration
This feature is available only when you select Edge trigger as the sensor’s detection type. This
function can be used when a DI is combined with other events. Setting duration virtually
extends the interval to make the combined several events within the same time frame to
trigger an alarm. The duration has a range of 0 to 600 seconds.
Alarm (DO) configuration
Alarm Control
Select “Active” or “Inactive” for alarm.
Detection type
Select your ideal detection type between “Edge trigger” and “Level trigger”.
- Edge trigger: You can select this detection type if you need to detect DO signals at the
moment that DO signal is at the rising edge and the falling edge.
- Level trigger: You can select this detection type if you need to detect DO signals throughout
the time that DO signal is maintained.
Interval between triggers
This menu is available only when you select Edge trigger as the alarm’s detection type. Set the
detection interval for event generation frequency. For example, if you input ‘0,’ it generates
events whenever DO is active or inactive. When the value is set to’10,’ then only one event will
be triggered every 10 seconds even if multiple DO events are detected within 10 seconds.
Duration
This menu is available only when you select Edge trigger as the alarm’s detection type. This
function can be used when a DO is combined with other events. Setting duration virtually
extends the interval to make the combined several events within the same time frame to
trigger an alarm. The duration has a range of 0 to 600 seconds.
