APPENDIX(A) : ENCODERS
This appendix structurally consists of two different categories, which are Live and Setup, and it
covers encoders’ different features from cameras. Thus, you may refer to the rest parts of this
manual if you need to learn about the features which are the same as in cameras.
Live
PTZ Control
If you want to use the features of PTZ movement with the speed control and preposition
(preset), you may use the features under the sections of Movement, Speed, and Pre Position
by reference to PTZ tab in 3.2. Live Page Menus, or you may use the upper two menus on the
PTZ controller. The PTZ controller may pop up by clicking the Show button under the PTZ
Control bar, and the configuration method of PTZ movement and preset on the PTZ controller
is the same as the configuration method on the PTZ tab.
However, when you consider controlling the features via the analogue PTZ camera’s OSD
menu and using additional features, you can start off clicking the Menu Off button to load OSD
menu on Live View.
- Menu Off (On): Press this button to load the camera’s OSD menu on Live View.
NOTE: The actual states between the camera’s OSD in Live View and the Menu Off (On)
button may not be matched each other.
- Arrow buttons (PTZ tab/OSD Controller): Press the buttons according to your intention
to move between the OSD menus on Live View.
- Enter: Press this button when you enter OSD menu or execute the selected OSD menu.
- Clear: Press this button when you want to exit from the current OSD menu.
- Scan: Configure a profile of Scan via the Auto Scan menu under the OSD main menu.
Then, exit from the OSD menu, press the number button corresponding to the
configured Scan number on the PTZ controller, and press the Scan button to start ‘Scan’.
