HTTP/HTTPS Setting
Authentication Type
When accessing the page which requires authority, the web browser asks ID and password and
then transfers them to the camera by the methods below.
-basic: It uses simple way of encryption of ID and Password with clear text
-digest: It uses more enhanced way of encryption.
The features rec-tangled in red will appear when HTTPS is selected on the configuration tab.
Certificate Create & Install
Create & install self-signed certificate: Click the Create button to create a self-signed certificate.
Create certificate signing request: A certificate request will be created when clicking the Create
button. Then, browse the certificate which will be installed.
Create certificate request
The text box will show the status of the certificate request. If you want to see the information
about the certificate request, click the Properties button. To remove the certificate request,
click the Remove button.
Installed certificate
The text box will show the status if there is certificate has been installed. If you want to see the
information of the certificate, click the Properties button. To remove the certificate request,
click the Remove button.
