3.2.2 Choosing navigation data to display
Choose the navigation data to display on the video plotter display as follows:
1. Press the [NAV MENU] and [1] keys in to show the NAV INFORMATION 1
menu.

2. For items 2, 3, 5, 6 and 9, press the appropriate numeric key several times to
choose the setting desired, and then press the [ENTER] key.
Note1:
Item 2 chooses the source of position data.
GPS+LC:
Own ship position data fed from GPS or Loran C
navigator.
DEAD RECKONING:
Position data entered at item 4 (POSN) is
used as starting point for dead reckoning.
AIS:
Own ship position data fed from AIS transponder.
Note 2:
When changing from GPS+LC to AIS or vice versa, the alarm
indication “EPFS” appears. Press the [CANCEL] key to erase the
alarm indication.
If you selected DEAD RECKONING, do the following to enter position.
a) Press the [4] key.
b) Enter current latitude position.
c) Press the [ENTER] key.
d) Press the [4] key to choose North or South.
e) Press the [ENTER] key.
f) Enter current longitude position.
