Replacement Procedure

In this section, procedure to replace each component is explained.

LCD Unit

The LCD unit of the DS-7001 system bedside monitor needs to be replaced when used
continuously for 10,000 hours or more, or used for 2 years or more. To ensure reliability of
safety, function, and performance of the DS-7001 system bedside monitor, the LCD unit must
be replaced periodically. Otherwise, it may cause the following degradation.

Unclearness, darkness of the display

CAUTION

The periodic replacement parts must be replaced within specified
period.

As the membrane switch and LCD relay board are connected to the LCD unit, the replacement
procedure is complicated. When replacing the LCD unit, refer to Fukuda Denshi.
