User’s Manual

Periodic Routine Maintenance

6b.Remove a new drum unit

from its envelope and
remove the drum
protecting sheet from the
drum unit.

7. Mount the drum unit on

the developer unit.

Holding the drum unit with
its shutter facing outside,
insert one end of the drum
unit shaft into the bearing
hole of the developer unit.

Put the other end of the
shaft on the other bearing
and close the ark-shaped
green lever to secure the
shaft.

8. Open the shutter under

the drum. Holding the top
center of the print unit,
push up backwards the
green-labeled handle of the
shutter under the print unit
and fix the shutter on the
hook.
