Using a Button on the Scanner to Start Scanning
The [Scan/Enter] button on the operator panel can be used to
start scanning.
For this purpose, you first need to assign an application to be
launched when the [Scan/Enter] button is pressed.

Configure settings for an event on a computer. An event here means
pressing the [Scan/Enter] button.
In the [Events] tab of the properties window for the scanner, assign an
application to be launched when the [Scan/Enter] button is pressed.
You can configure the settings for an event that is linked with an
application number that is displayed on the operator panel of the
scanner.

Configure the settings for the Function Selection on the operator
panel of the scanner.
By using the Function Selection, you can link the event that is
configured on a computer with the application number that is
displayed on the operator panel.

Settings on an application to be launched
Depending on an application to be launched when the [Scan/Enter]
button is pressed, you also need to configure the settings on the
application (such as an image scanning application or a scanner
driver).

Confirm that the scanner is connected to the computer,
then turn on the scanner.

Display the [Control Panel] window.

Right-click the Start screen, and select [All apps] on the app bar
