(3) Confirm that the added MIB view is displayed in the "Set MIB View" field.

Set SNMP trap destination
(1) Click the [Trap] link on the left of the screen.
The SNMP Trap destination setting screen appears.
(2) Enter a new destination for the SNMP Trap, and click the [Add New Destination]
button.
Enter the IP address of the SNMP Manager (monitoring server) in "IP Address".
Enter the Community name to transfer the SNMP Trap to (if not specified, "public" is
used) in "Community Name".
(3) Confirm that the added destination for the SNMP Trap is displayed in the "Set
Destination of SNMP Traps" field.

Click the [Set] button.
A confirmation screen appears.

Click the [OK] button.
The settings are reflected.
IMPORTANT
When SNMP Manager exists in a different subnetwork from
where the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system belongs, spec-
ify the IP address or the network address of SNMP Manager in
the "Allowed IP List" using the [Set Network Environment]
function.
