4-14. [F5]: CAM Adjustment
(shutter adjustment, adjustment for reduced aperture
sensitivity, ISO sensitivity adjustment, white balance ad-
justment, AE adjustment, and offset level adjustment)
[Preparations]
Ensure that the LB140 filter and pattern box (all white)
are available before beginning CAM adjustment.

diagram at
right.

Ensure that distance is measured from the front
face of the camera lens during camera adjustment.
<Step 1>
Select
[F5]
from
[Adjustment Select Screen (Fig.4)]
(ie
press the [F5] key on the computer).
---> The
[CAM Adjustment Preparation Screen (Fig.17)]
is
displayed.
<Step 2>
Follow the instructions on the [CAM Adjustment Prepara-
tion Screen (Fig.17], and make the following preparations.
(1) Ensure that the LB140 filter is available.
(2) Adjust the color temperature of the pattern box
(PTB450) to 6100±50K (see 4-6. Setup for Adjust-
ments for details).
(3) Adjust the luminance of the pattern box (PTB450) to
160±50cd/m

(see 4-6. Setup for Adjustments for de-
tails).
(4) Mount the camera on a tripod.
When preparations are complete, press the [Enter] key
on the computer.
---> The
[CAM Adjustment Start Screen (Fig.18)]
is displayed.
<Step 3>
Follow the instructions on the [CAM Adjustment Start
Screen (Fig.18)], and make the following preparations.
(1) Adjust the distance between the camera and the pat-
tern box to a maximum of 80mm.
(2)
Do not set
the filter (LB140).
When preparations are complete, press the [Enter] key
on the computer.
---> Camera adjustment (without filter, first cycle) begins.
<Step 4>
When CAM adjustment (without filter, first cycle) is com-
pleted normally,
[CAM Adjustment (with filter) Screen
(Fig.19)]
is displayed. Make the following preparations.
(1) Adjust the distance between the camera and the LB40
filter to a maximum of 30mm.
(2) Adjust the distance between the LB40 filter and the
pattern box to a maximum of 50mm.
(3) Set the filter (LB140) in place in front of the camera.
When preparations are complete, press the [Enter] key
on the computer.
---> CAM adjustment (with filter) begins.
<Step 5>
When CAM adjustment (with filter) is completed normal-
ly,
