FCR XC-1 Operation Manual

First Edtion 11.2005 897N0565

6.3 Cleaning the Air Intakes and Exhaust Ports

Clean air ﬁlter, louvers and air intakes of the right-side cover and the exhaust ports of the left-side
cover periodically (once every three months).

Press the button on the top of the louver of
the right side (air intake) (

) and dismount

the louver (

Dismount

Press

Dismount

Upper louver

Lower louver

Remove air ﬁlter attached to the inside of the
upper louver.

No air ﬁlter is attached to the inside of the lower
louver.

Remove

Air filter

Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the front and
back of the air ﬁlter, louvers and air intakes.

Reattach the air ﬁlter to the upper louver.

Reattach

Air filter

Remount the louvers on the equipment.

Upper louver

Lower louver

Remount

Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the exhaust
ports of the left side.

Exhaust ports

When remounting the louver, be careful not to
pinch your ﬁngers.
