About Redundant Messages
: The content of messages can be configured to be repeated
in subsequent transmissions. Transmitting redundant copies is useful if any data is
garbled or lost during a transmission so that it is more likely to receive a complete data
transfer. A transmission which has one redundant record consists of the most recent data
(as defined in the data set) followed by the data from the previously transmitted data set.
A transmission which has two redundant messages consists of the most recent data
followed by the data from the two previously transmitted data sets, etc.
