5.3 Plunger Lift Example
This example illustrates the wire replacement setup to control the plunger at a well head using a
single I/O Slave.

5.3.1 I/O Master to the RTU
1. Wire these terminal ports on the I/O Master to the RTU:
a. DI1 to RTU Digital Input for the plunger arrival sensor.
b. AO1 to RTU Analog Input for tubing sensor.
c. AO2 to RTU Analog Input for casing sensor.
d. DO1 to RTU Digital Output for solenoid valve.
Note
: The valve can be run in two lines, one for valve open and one for valve closed.
2. Link Alarm to RTU Digital Input to for alarm if link is lost to the I/O Slave.
