3.6.2 Fastening of units
Wall mounting set for profi-air flex
The mounting set included with the delivery provides sound-decoupled installation
of the profi-air flex ventilation unit on a load-bearing wall. Attach the fastening rail to
the wall and mount the ventilation unit onto it. Two rubber buffers, which are part of
the scope of delivery, as well as the edge protection mounted on the fastening rail
ensure noise separation to the building. Attach the self-adhesive rubber buffers to
the rear surface of the housing. Eventually, mount the ventilation unit onto the rail
installed in the wall from above.
Installation of profi-air flex wall mounting set
Connect the condensate line only after wall installation of profi-air flex has
been completed.
Please ensure a clearance of at least 170 mm between the finished floor and
the bottom of the unit to have enough space to connect the condensate line.
Cover all openings at the ventilation unit to avoid contamination of the air
pipes before installation.
