11.7 Annual servicing 

  Check gear oil, fill up if necessary. Observe the external operating manual in the system. 

Gear oil recommendation:

Degol BG 220

Energol GR-XP 100 

- 

  Quantity approx. 1.8 litres per drive 

  Check gear rack is secure.

  197 Nm tightening torque. 

 
 

11.8  Servicing every 3 years 

The Fraco over speed safety brake may only be repaired or adjusted by the manufacturer's 
service technicians or his trained and authorized representatives. 
 
The over speed safety brake has been type-tested and must be replaced every 3 years or 
checked by the manufacturer or an authorized representative of the manufacturer. 
 
Change SYNTHETIC OIL every three/four years. 
Watch out! You must not mix the mineral and synthetic oils when refilling oil! 
 

 
11.9 Hoist lubrication 

 
It is carried out according to the "Lubrication diagram" and Figure 8.1.
