Do not forget to remove the "Maintenance Safety Bracket” after com-
pletion of the work under the cage!
NOTE
When working under the cage of the Fraco SEH, the personal safety must be ensured in the
same way.
11.1.2
Procedure (for SEH twin hoist)
1) Connect the installation remote control in the power panel AS2 of the first car.
2) Turn the "service" key switch of the power panel AS2 to on position.
Raise the first car with the installation remote control until the cage floor is 7’5” (2.25 m)
above the foundation slab, and the minimal clearance for the
"Maintenance Safety
Bracket"
is respected.
Secure the first car by turning off the main switch on the ground box AL0. Perform a lock
out procedure to prevent anyone from turning the main switch on, install warning signs if
necessary.
Repeat step 1 to 4 for the second car.
3) Install the "
Maintenance Safety Bracket
" on both cars. The bracket must be installed
above the mast horizontal member (Fig. 41). The gap between the car and the bracket
must be less than 1” (25 mm)
4) Perform maintenance work.
5) Remove both the
“Maintenance safety bracket”
and leave the space under the cars.
6) Unlock the main switch of the first car and turn it back to on position.
7) Lower the first car to the ground, remove warning sign if necessary.
8) Disconnect the installation remote control and turn the service key switch to off posi-
tion.
9) Repeat step 8 to 11 for the second car.
! WARNING !
During installation of the "Maintenance Safety Bracket" both cages must be secured
against undesirable movement by turning-off the main switch.
