8.3.2 Ascending / Descending
Before moving the car
Verify that the main breakers are in ON position (480V and 110V).
Enter
the
car.
Close and lock the doors.
Wait until the green ready light on the car control is lighted up.
The car is ready to ascend or descend.
Ascent
Push the joystick upwards to the second location.
The car moves at full speed for as long as the joystick is pressed in the second location.
To stop at the next landing, the joystick must be relocated to the first upward location.
Then the car will decrease in speed to slow. At the landing level the joystick must be re-
located to the centre position. Then the car stops.
Descent
Push the joystick downwards to the second location.
The car moves at full speed for as long as the joystick is pressed in the second location.
To stop at the next landing, the joystick must be relocated to the first downward location.
Then the car will decrease in speed to slow. At the landing level the joystick must be re-
located to the centre position. Then the car stops.
NOTE
The car will automatically slow down when arriving at the ground or top landing gates.
NOTE
When at ground or top landing, the unit can go in second speed only when it is at the gate
level.
If the unit is started at first speed, it will not be able to go at second speed until it
has cleared the bottom or top limit switch cam!
