the antenna is connected) and with care pull out the internal
compartment containing the logger circuit board and battery.
Remove and replace the battery, ensuring the correct polarity
of the battery, and push the internal compartment back into
place. Secure the panel with the two screws.

Note:

With the DNL808 also disconnect the external sensor to

avoid damaging it.

3.9.5.

Power Adapter

The DataNet power adapter is used to power the DNR900,
DNL910 and DNL920 units. The mains adaptor (AC/DC
adaptor) converts mains power (from a wall outlet) to a
voltage suitable to the DataNet hardware unit.

Output: Capacitor filtered 9 to 12 VDC, 300 mA

  Female plug, center negative

Note:

Only use Fourier-supplied power adapters to avoid

damaging the units with incorrect power supply.

3.9.6.

Data Logger Battery Life

Battery life depends on the logger sampling rate, transmission
rate, type of sensor, network architecture and number of
measured sensors.

DNL910 and DNL920 can last up to six months on a

charged battery.

DNL804, DNL808 and DNL810 can last up to 10 months

on a new battery.
