When setting up the SNS system for the first
time, install the equipment first (see
EQUIPMENT SETUP) and then proceed to
programming the Touch Panel.
Accessing the Maintenance Menu
When first powering up the Flavor Burst SNS
system, a “Calibration Due” message will
appear on the screen. Calibration is necessary
in order for the system to operate properly. But
first, access the Touch Panel’s Maintenance
Menu, go through the Equipment Setup Wizard,
and prime the syrups. Then you will be ready
to calibrate the system.
1. To access the Touch Panel’s Maintenance
Menu, touch CALIBRATE NOW, or press
and hold the logo in the upper left corner.
2. Swipe the screen up and down to see the
full menu options. The left-hand side of the
screen lists the various maintenance and
setup options.
Equipment Setup Wizard
The Equipment Setup Wizard is a program
designed to guide the operator and installer
through the process of setting up the hardware
of the whole system. Certain features such as
setting the date and time, as well as detecting
the switch, are important for the Touch Panel
program to communicate with the system and
operate correctly. Other features, such as
bounce sensitivity, can be adjusted as needed
later on.
1. Press the “Equipment Setup Wizard”
section in the Maintenance Menu. Enter the
Administrator Password when prompted.
2. Time and Date Settings Update the panel
to the current time and date by pressing the
CHANGE TIME key.
NOTE:
IT IS IMPORTANT TO SET THE DATE
AND TIME FOR CERTAIN FEATURES OF
THE TOUCH PANEL TO WORK PROPERLY.
