Power Connections and Power Up
The electrical connections for the Flavor Burst
system are located on the upper back panel of
the unit. Once the cables have been connected
and the unit is turned on, it can remain on
during normal daily operations. It does not need
to be turned off unless it is serviced, moved, or
remains unused for a long period of time.
NOTE:
ELELCTRICAL HAZARD - DO NOT
HANDLE OR OPERATE NEAR WATER.
1. Ensure the power-switch is in the “off”
position with the “
○
” end pressed in.
2. Connect the Auto Draw Lift motor cable to
the corresponding “Lift Motor” labeled port.
3. Connect the Weight Sensor, Touch Panel 1
and Touch Panel 2 cables to the
corresponding labeled ports. The cables
look similar, but have labels just behind the
connectors.
4. Connect the power cord to the port on the
back panel.
5. Plug the power cord into an outlet.
6. Activate the unit by pressing the “
|
” end of
the switch.
7. Turn on the Touch Panel by pressing the
small round black power button on the back
casing of the Touch Panel. There is also a
smaller power button between the casing
and the screen.
8. The Color Touch Panel itself will need to go
through a program set up process as well
as a calibration process. The COLOR
TOUCH PANEL OPERATIONS MANUAL
contains step-by-step instructions and
explanations of the panel’s program set up
and features. But first continue to the next
section “Installing the Syrups.” This must
be done before the Touch Panel can be
calibrated.
