Connecting the Draw Switch
When the draw spout is activated, the spigot
switch relays the signal to the Flavor Burst
®
system, telling it to activate the pumps and
syrups as product is drawn from the spout. The
Flavor Burst system comes with an auto draw
system that attaches to the draw handle of the
machine. The draw button on the Touch Panel
screen operates the auto draw system. It will
automatically draw the serving and shut off on
its own, according to the size and flavor
selected from the Touch Panel screen.
Right Side Switch Connection: Follow these
instructions to connect the standard right-sided
Door Assembly to the freezer using the draw
switch. If you are connecting a left-sided
assembly, skip down to “Left Side Switch Jack
Installation.”
5. Locate the draw switch inside the Door
Assembly and plug it into the integrated
switch jack on the freezer. The jack is
located on the underside of the freezer
header panel.
Left Side Switch Jack Installation: Follow
these instructions to connect the standard left-
sided Door Assembly to the freezer using the
draw switch. Unlike the right side, which
already has an integrated switch jack installed,
the left side of the freezer requires installing
another jack.
6. Remove the header panel of the freezer.
7. Locate the switch jack opening on the base
panel, to the far left and inside. The ELE
477 switch jack will be installed in this
opening. Also locate the freezer’s left side
switch. The other end of the ELE 477 will
connect to two of the prongs of the switch.
8. Install the connectors onto the switch’s
prongs. Use the top prong furthest from
you, and the lower side prong. It does not
matter which wire goes with which prong,
only that the furthest top and lower side
prong are used. The middle prong is not
used.
