The wireless LAN access point is a component which allows for communication with
the robot via a network address.

The access point features low current consumption. Power supply via the USB
port is possible.

The access point complies with the following standards: IEEE 802.11g and
802.11b.

It allows for transmission speeds of up to 54 Mb per second for 802-11g, and 11
Mb per second for 802.11b with a large transmission range (up to 100 m inside
of buildings).

It assures reliable network security with WEP encryption and WPA-PSK function.

It’s fast and simple to configure via the web management utility.
The controller unit is equipped with a slot into which a PC card has already been
inserted. This PC card contains the operating system, the functions libraries and the
included programs. Updates can be easily installed by simply replacing the PC card.
The slot for the PC card is located to the right of the controller unit interfaces.
