B.2.1 Controlling the analog IOs with the bus

The analog input/output data are cyclically transferred in
a data word (16 bit) as 12 bit data.

The master can only exchange data with one analog chan
nel per fieldbus cycle.

The start addresses for analog inputs and analog outputs
must be identical.

Output:  The  master  can  output  the  next  analog  value
OWn+1,  when  the  previous  data  exchange  has  been  suc
cessfully  completed  (OW  n  =  IW  n).

Input:  The  requested  analog  input  value  is  available  once
the  bits  0..3  contain  the  analog  word  of  the  requested
channel  address  and  data  direction.
