4.5.4 Notes on parametrization with RSNetWorx for DeviceNet

This section contains notes on parametrization with
RSNetWorx for DeviceNet version 2.11.51 from Rockwell.

Festo SF 60 as the DeviceNet master

Festo  provides  you  with  a  DeviceNet  master  in  the  form  of  the
programmable  valve  terminal  SF  60  (SLC  embedded).  The
controller  integrated  in  the  SF  60  corresponds  to  an  SLC5/02
with  DeviceNet  scanner  1747−SDN  from  Allen−Bradley.

Please note

All  steps  set  out  for  the  Allen−Bradley  scanner  1747−SDN
apply  for  the  SF  60  as  the  master.  The  following  text  there
fore  does  not  mention  any  differences.

Insert slave in project/network

RSNetWorx  for  DeviceNet  contains  an  EDS  assistant  to  sup
port  you  during  the  installation  of  the  EDS  file.  After  the  EDS
file  is  installed,  the  valve  terminal  is  included  in  the  Hard
ware"  list.  Drag  and  drop  to  enter  the  slave  in  the  network  on
the  right−hand  side.
